The homemade pesto sauce is definitely much better than the "buyer" and the proportions  based to our tastes!I make pesto and pesto with parsley and mint, and combined them!
For this Pesto sauce we need:
 50 grams fresh basil leaves

 

30 grams pine nuts 
3 cloves garlic 
50 grams parmesan or pecorino 
1 cup olive oil 
coarse salt
